Hi, I’m Bryant!
My career journey has taken me from entrepreneurship to tech roles in product, analytics, marketing and strategy, including an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
At heart, I’m a problem solver who thrives on a data-driven approach. To me, data is like an unsolved jigsaw puzzle waiting to be pieced together to reveal insights and guide decisions. I love combining business and technical aspects to drive solutions. I’m especially passionate about all things AI/ML!
Check out some of the personal coding projects and technology articles I’ve written below!

Building a Recommendation Engine
Enhancing the Grocery Experience with Design Thinking and Machine Learning
A recent write-up of a project I completed, a personalized recipe recommendation engine leveraging the ratings of 225k recipes, 200k users, and 1.1 million reviews on Food.com. The idea for this project stemmed from customer research and interviews related to the grocery shopping experience. As someone who has a passion for food, data analytics, and building products to solve problems, I was excited to be able to use machine learning to take an idea and turn it into this basic prototype.
This project leveraged previous knowledge I had of Python and machine learning but took me on a path to build news skills in design thinking, Apache Spark, model tuning, and alternating least squares algorithms.
Building a Full Stack Web App
StrengthJournal
Web application I’m building that utilizes Python, Flask, HTML/CSS, SQL, and JavaScript to enable users to create workout routines, record performance, and visualize progress through a set of dashboards.
I was inspired to start this project after getting back into working out but being unable to find my old workout journal that held my handwritten workout data. I looked at existing digital solutions but didn’t like any of the free options as I felt they were clunky and didn’t put enough of a focus on visualizing your progression. The application is targeted to beginners to create an easy, straightforward way to log and see your progress on your fitness journey.
